The supporters of Pozuelos booed when Cotita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogelio Guifre didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pascual Ostots's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Damian Fresco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Aquiles Osasun was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 22nd minute. Cotita's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 23 minutes into the match, Leonardo Leizarraga notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Pozuelos's Martin Orlondo. Martin Orlondo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pozuelos's Martin Orlondo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquiles Osasun in the 27th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Aquiles Osasun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cotita's supporters rose to their feet, but Aquiles Osasun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Orlondo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pozuelos's supporters rose to their feet, but Cosme Lucian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damian Fresco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pozuelos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aquiles Osasun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. When Leonardo Leizarraga came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Cotita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonardo Leizarraga couldn't finish the play. In the 75th minute, Leonardo Leizarraga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cotita fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Pascual Ostots recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Leizarraga in the 86th minute of play forced Pozuelos's goalkeeper Martin Orlondo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martin Orlondo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Leizarraga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
