Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Evaristo Cordarin took the kick off in the first half of the match. Chapaleofú FC's Humberto Eguen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Toribio in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute, Mariano Toribio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Humberto Eguen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Joga Bonito FC's Gaudencio Figueroa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haroldo Lopez in the 8th minute of play. Gaudencio Figueroa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evaristo Cordarin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Joga Bonito FC's zone, Artem Mischenko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaudencio Figueroa came out of the goal and Artem Mischenko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gaudencio Figueroa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Evaristo Cordarin's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Chapaleofú FC's Haroldo Lopez got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Joga Bonito FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Ermegildo Eusko hit a great ball. When Chapaleofú FC's Evaristo Cordarin in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Humberto Eguen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiburcio Jeraldo in the 19th minute of the match. In the 21st minute Tiburcio Jeraldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Eguen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Evaristo Cordarin came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Chapaleofú FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evaristo Cordarin couldn't finish the play. Gaudencio Figueroa was a little too slow when Evaristo Cordarin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 1-1. Evaristo Cordarin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in Chapaleofú FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! 60 minutes into the game, Joga Bonito FC's Zacarias Dantae nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Humberto Eguen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Gaudencio Figueroa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Haroldo Lopez went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Tiburcio Jeraldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evaristo Cordarin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gaudencio Figueroa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. 74 minutes into the game, Evaristo Cordarin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Gaudencio Figueroa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gaudencio Figueroa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Lopez, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After 79 minutes, Justo Bero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Joga Bonito FC and the Chapaleofú FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Lopez in the 81st minute of play forced Joga Bonito FC's goalkeeper Gaudencio Figueroa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Joga Bonito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Evaristo Cordarin came free, but Gaudencio Figueroa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaudencio Figueroa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evaristo Cordarin, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 88th minute Haroldo Lopez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaudencio Figueroa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Haroldo Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mariano Toribio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Humberto Eguen having to make a save. 99 minutes into the match, Haroldo Lopez notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Joga Bonito FC's Gaudencio Figueroa. Gaudencio Figueroa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Chapaleofú FC had played much better football throughout.
