An unexpectedly hard shot by Melchor Dei in the 34th minute of play forced Argentina FC's goalkeeper Cristobal Xabel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Razvan Badea got free with Cristobal Xabel in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Melchor Dei was the one to do the kick off. Haroldo Aguirre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Razvan Badea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristobal Xabel was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Baltasar Txilar made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Eleuterio Ciano sent off a good shot on target. Cristobal Xabel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Mono Burgos's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Aguirre came free, but Baltasar Txilar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes into the game, Eleuterio Ciano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Baltasar Txilar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eleuterio Ciano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Baltasar Txilar having to make a save. Cristobal Xabel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Razvan Badea in the 87th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Argentina FC's Enzo Idacio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Baltasar Txilar. That made the score 1-3 after 89 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Mono Burgos's Caspar Gransel got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Ramon Karlo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltasar Txilar having to interfere. The Mono Burgos fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Argentina FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
