The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Remigio Odon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Julio Jacindo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amancio Guerau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisito Beturian, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After having played for 22 minutes, Julio Jacindo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arteaga AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julio Jacindo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Celso Asur came free with the goalkeeper in the 25th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dionisio Garoa could save by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julio Jacindo in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amancio Guerau prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Amancio Guerau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisito Beturian in the 34th minute of play. Cangrejillos AFC's Amancio Guerau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisito Beturian in the 37th minute of play. Arteaga AFC's Dionisio Garoa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Arteaga AFC from getting a goal against them. After having played for 47 minutes, Julio Jacindo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arteaga AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julio Jacindo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The wind increased when Leandro Roldan made the kick off in the second half. Luisito Beturian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisito Beturian in the 57th minute of play forced Cangrejillos AFC's goalkeeper Amancio Guerau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. During the 59th minute of the match Tadeo Mosen completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Tadeo Mosen a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Tadeo Mosen hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After 66 played minutes Arteaga AFC got a freekick which was hit by Luisito Beturian. After a defensive mix-up in Arteaga AFC's zone, Celso Asur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dionisio Garoa came out of the goal and Celso Asur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 72nd match minute, Cangrejillos AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celso Asur to maneuver through the defense. Dionisio Garoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Asur in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celso Asur in the 76th minute of play forced Arteaga AFC's goalkeeper Dionisio Garoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute, Eustacio Martxel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 79 minutes into the game, Luisito Beturian recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Amancio Guerau. Luisito Beturian showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Julio Jacindo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Amancio Guerau came out and tried to block the shot, but Julio Jacindo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 87th minute.
