The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cirilo Lucian succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 4th playminute. Dionisio Garoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Asur in the 8th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Luisito Beturian dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Amancio Guerau, 2-0. 18 minutes into the game, Eloy Tano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cangrejillos AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arteaga AFC the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cangrejillos AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 17th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 20 minutes, Arteaga AFC's Luciano Omero got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Amancio Guerau. Dionisio Garoa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Roldan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the game, Tadeo Mosen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cangrejillos AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arteaga AFC the free kick. Tadeo Mosen kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Dionisio Garoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Asur in the 29th minute of play. Cleto Bordat kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Arteaga AFC's Dionisio Garoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Roldan in the 33rd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Cangrejillos AFC's Celso Asur sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dionisio Garoa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Amancio Guerau didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 36th minute, which inside left pole to 4-0. Amancio Guerau was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Luisito Beturian capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luisito Beturian really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. Dionisio Garoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celso Asur in the 46th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julio Jacindo to strike the kick off in the second half. Cangrejillos AFC's Cristo Diegotxe got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Julio Jacindo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amancio Guerau was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Luisito Beturian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Amancio Guerau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arteaga AFC's Luisito Beturian got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 66th minute Julio Jacindo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amancio Guerau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the game, Arteaga AFC's Luisito Beturian nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amancio Guerau made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. When Arteaga AFC's Luisito Beturian in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cangrejillos AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Amancio Guerau came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Arteaga AFC's Julio Jacindo. But to his dismay, Julio Jacindo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. If Julio Jacindo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Jacindo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amancio Guerau having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Roldan in the 92nd minute of play forced Arteaga AFC's goalkeeper Dionisio Garoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luisito Beturian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Amancio Guerau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arteaga AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
