Fabian Cesario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arne Nyemanting in the 27th minute of the match. Fabian Cesario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasmo Saturnin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Madero City ★ ♫'s Adrian Čertický got a free kick in the 29th minute. Albino Etxeberri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Juan Alagoano made a huge save. Fabian Cesario didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis Arnas went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Albino Etxeberri to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as River Plate's Arne Nyemanting slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fabian Cesario. That made the score 0-4 after 53 minutes of play. The River Plate fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when River Plate's Aidan Alcorn looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
