A hard shot 10 in the game by Melquiades Rayman from a close distance when the talented Bonifacio Urtsua managed to make a qualified save. Amaná's players were relieved. In the 16th minute, Amaná's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Melquiades Rayman fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Victorino Qwinton charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victorino Qwinton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Victorino Qwinton hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 21st minute by Evaristo Lorencio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Donato Peyo kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Potrerillo's Melquiades Rayman got a free kick in the 40th minute. 45 minutes into the game, Seyhun Kadi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Amaná's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Potrerillo the free kick. Seyhun Kadi kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aivar Kallaste stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Amaná getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. In the 57th match minute, Potrerillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guaberto Tiadoro to maneuver through the defense. 64 minutes into the match, Amaná's goal looked a bit too open when Melquiades Rayman came free, but Bonifacio Urtsua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute, Melquiades Rayman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Melquiades Rayman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Bonifacio Urtsua tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bonifacio Urtsua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Lorencio in the 75th minute of play. Potrerillo's Donato Peyo suffered a concussion after 75 minutes and had to leave the field. After 75 minutes, Antonio Ilixo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Amaná and the Potrerillo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Benigno Eudoxio charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benigno Eudoxio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bonifacio Urtsua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melquiades Rayman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95thth minute of the game Melquiades Rayman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Amaná's Bonifacio Urtsua was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
