After 16 played minutes, Darregueira AFC's Cecilio Enekoitz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Felipe Llorienzo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Darregueira AFC reached it. After 21 minutes, Nicolas Gorosti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Darregueira AFC and the PEDOTUDOS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 26 minutes of play, Darregueira AFC's Florencio Berasko made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Felipe Llorienzo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 31st match minute, PEDOTUDOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaudencio Santana to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Esquipula received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Felipe Llorienzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaudencio Santana was slow to take the kick. During this time PEDOTUDOS's players had a chance to rest. After having played for 48 minutes, Florencio Berasko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Darregueira AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florencio Berasko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Esquipula made a kick off. Tomas Esquipula could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Felipe Llorienzo made a huge save. In the 56th minute Darregueira AFC were awarded a corner. Justino Cortez went to the cornerflag to take it. Darregueira AFC's Marcelino Seber was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Felipe Llorienzo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Florencio Berasko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Claudio Rocio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eustacio Aurken read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. If Florencio Berasko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felipe Llorienzo didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Darregueira AFC's Tomas Esquipula shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-3 in the ordered_time% minute. Eustacio Aurken made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauricio Dantae in the 73rd minute of play. PEDOTUDOS's Felipe Llorienzo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save PEDOTUDOS from getting a goal against them. Claudio Rocio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustacio Aurken having to interfere. Eustacio Aurken made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauricio Dantae in the 88th minute of play. Florencio Berasko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Darregueira AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
