Armando Godoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alonzo Cilio in the 20th minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, Club Sarmiento Formosa's Amador Guipuzkoa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Armando Godoy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adriana Uxio during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 26th match minute, Club Sarmiento Formosa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adriana Uxio to maneuver through the defense. Guillermino's Armando Godoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonzo Cilio in the 44th minute of play. 47 minutes into the game, Enrique Ruy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guillermino's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Sarmiento Formosa the free kick. After 47 played minutes Guillermino got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Ruy. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gervasio Pabla made a kick off. 白迅博 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Rius in the 53rd minute of the match. Amador Guipuzkoa in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. In the 93rd minute, Hipolito Meder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Club Sarmiento Formosa's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
