Lucio Beti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of pelonia booed when CA Gómez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicasio Mendiko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Armando Lertxun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteve Froylan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mauricio Beila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicasio Mendiko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Nikola having to interfere. If Lucio Beti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the match, CA Gómez's goal looked a bit too open when Rosendo Cristofor came free, but Armando Lertxun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. pelonia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Julio Haimar scored to the left of an out of position Ivan Nikola, making the score, 1-0. After 37 minutes of play, pelonia's Rosendo Cristofor made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armando Lertxun was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lucio Beti stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Esteve Froylan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Armando Lertxun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After recieving a nice pass, pelonia's Justino Salvidor tried to score from far away in the 59th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as pelonia's Lucio Beti slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Armando Lertxun. That made the score 1-2 after 63 minutes of play. Epifanio Bembe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in pelonia's zone, Ciro Qwinton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Nikola came out of the goal and Ciro Qwinton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rosendo Cristofor scored 1-3 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Armando Lertxun, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rosendo Cristofor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over pelonia could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than CA Gómez throughout the match.
