In the 48th minute, Dominic Casta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucas Ignazio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dominic Casta to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Primitivo Opilano in the 54th minute of play forced Parma Calcio's goalkeeper Per-Olof Hjeltman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Danilo Fortun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucas Ignazio.
