Spectators: 7140 (Terracing: 5356, Seating: 1642, VIP seats: 142) Joel Pelayo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Octavio Santxol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 9 minutes into the game, Eugenio Quin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BorrachoyCervecero's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Matos FC the free kick. Eugenio Quin hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute, Octavio Santxol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rigoberto Palban kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Matos FC's zone, Gaston Richie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximo Bide came out of the goal and Gaston Richie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maximo Bide showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaston Richie in the 28th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Rigoberto Palban hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Modesto Fernado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benicio Thomas having to interfere. Benicio Thomas came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Matos FC's Joel Pelayo. But to his dismay, Joel Pelayo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Joel Pelayo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 48 minutes into the match, Gaston Richie had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maximo Bide. Matos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gaston Richie was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Octavio Santxol made the kick off in the second half. When Joel Pelayo came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Matos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Pelayo couldn't finish the play. When Marcos Erasto fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BorrachoyCervecero's protests and gave Marcos Erasto a yellow card for diving instead. Marcos Erasto hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Joel Pelayo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benicio Thomas was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Joel Pelayo sped through BorrachoyCervecero's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benicio Thomas. The supporters of Matos FC booed when BorrachoyCervecero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaston Richie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximo Bide acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 71st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Rodolfo Terciero. A collision led to BorrachoyCervecero getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Carmelo Aurre hit a great ball. Damian Menendo didn't quite understand what happened when in the 74 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Maximo Bide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavio Santxol in the 77th minute of play. BorrachoyCervecero's Gaston Richie got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joel Pelayo in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benicio Thomas saved BorrachoyCervecero from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Delmar Mambru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Matos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Delmar Mambru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benicio Thomas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maximo Bide made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Gaston Richie sent off a good shot on target. Maximo Bide made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaston Richie in the 92nd minute. After 92 minutes of play Matos FC's Rigoberto Palban was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 93 played minutes Matos FC got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Palban. Carmelo Aurre took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Maximo Bide. Matos FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
