An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto Mendiko in the 7th minute of play forced c.s.municipal's goalkeeper Haroldo Salvino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rolando Evis during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rolando Evis kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Haroldo Salvino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eriberto Mendiko, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Coronda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eriberto Mendiko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as c.s.municipal's Rolando Evis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Čestmír Jarkovský. That made the score 1-0 after 29 minutes of play. Clodoveo Nabar kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zacarias Oliverio in the 47th minute of play forced c.s.municipal's goalkeeper Haroldo Salvino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Eugenio Bento might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Čestmír Jarkovský. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eugenio Bento ran back to his position shaking his head. Haroldo Salvino made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Zacarias Oliverio sent off a good shot on target. Coronda's Mariano Abad got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. c.s.municipal made a substitution. Mauro Modestio replaced Rolando Evis. Haroldo Salvino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eriberto Mendiko went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Eriberto Mendiko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the match, c.s.municipal's goal looked a bit too open when Eriberto Mendiko came free, but Haroldo Salvino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Coronda booed when c.s.municipal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Telesforo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match was over Coronda could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than c.s.municipal throughout the match.
