Bartolo Cayo made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Faustino Fagildo sent off a good shot on target. Jaime Qwinton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 29 minutes into the game, Líbaros's Armando Eudoxio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dario Koldo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Faustino Fagildo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dario Koldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Qwinton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernardino Galindo during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Líbaros booed when River Plate Juninense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardino Galindo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardino Galindo in the 42nd minute of play forced Líbaros's goalkeeper Bartolo Cayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eleuterio Nuñez charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eleuterio Nuñez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eleuterio Nuñez kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jaime Qwinton made a kick off. After a rather tough play, River Plate Juninense's Bernardino Galindo got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Líbaros's zone, Evelio Nalo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bartolo Cayo came out of the goal and Evelio Nalo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sazon Lortia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bartolo Cayo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evelio Nalo in the 61st minute of the match. Dario Koldo made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Armando Eudoxio sent off a good shot on target. Armando Eudoxio did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-3 to the left of a surprised Dario Koldo 63 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute, Jaime Qwinton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind River Plate Juninense's goalkeeper Dario Koldo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Victoriano Gar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the game, Líbaros's Armando Eudoxio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dario Koldo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Dario Koldo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Armando Eudoxio went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. Isaias Marko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Dario Koldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Líbaros walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
