Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Genaro Montrell made the kick off which started today's match. After a defensive mix-up in Saxlum's zone, Baldomero Guter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mariano Lixandro came out of the goal and Baldomero Guter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 21 minutes into the match, Monserrat's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Resto came free, but Herminio Urbez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Cipriano Resto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saxlum's supporters rose to their feet, but Cipriano Resto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herminio Urbez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 25th match minute, Monserrat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sixto Oso to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Moises Txaran in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herminio Urbez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cipriano Resto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 44 played minutes Monserrat got a freekick which was hit by Delmar Frans. Moises Txaran hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When Emilio Silvanito fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Monserrat's protests and gave Emilio Silvanito a yellow card for diving instead. Saxlum's Mariano Lixandro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Urtungo in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th minute Moises Txaran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herminio Urbez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Moises Txaran scored 1-4 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Herminio Urbez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Moises Txaran in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herminio Urbez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moises Txaran got free with Herminio Urbez in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Herminio Urbez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Resto in the 87th minute of the match. Sixto Oso kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Moises Txaran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Moises Txaran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Herminio Urbez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Moises Txaran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saxlum's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Txaran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herminio Urbez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Saxlum supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Saxlum would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
