Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. If Ulises Jesco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jeremias Urtungo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Maximo Cresenciano made a huge save. 21 minutes into the match, Sporting Punta Alta's goalkeeper Maximo Cresenciano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emilio Silvanito. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emilio Silvanito got free with Maximo Cresenciano in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 25th minute, Genaro Montrell reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Maximo Cresenciano. The goal made the score 1-1. After 28 minutes, Delmar Frans mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Monserrat and the Sporting Punta Alta players grew even worse after the yellow card. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ulises Jesco made a kick off. Maximo Cresenciano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomero Guter in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th match minute, Sporting Punta Alta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximiliano Leobardo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genaro Montrell in the 58th minute of play forced Sporting Punta Alta's goalkeeper Maximo Cresenciano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximo Cresenciano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genaro Montrell, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Maximo Cresenciano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Urtungo in the 64th minute of play. The supporters of Sporting Punta Alta booed when Monserrat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. The referee felt a red card was in order, 84 minutes into the game, when Haroldo Pero put in a rough tackle. After 85 played minutes Monserrat got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Pero. Serafino Maraman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Sporting Punta Alta's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Urtungo came free, but Maximo Cresenciano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 92 minutes into the game, Baldomero Guter cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Maximo Cresenciano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
