An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Elija in the 47th minute of play forced San Lorenzo's goalkeeper Cecilio Inocente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Paulino Garci tried in the 52nd minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Cecilio Inocente a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Seek And Destroy's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Serapio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. A collision led to San Lorenzo getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Valentin Abilio hit a great ball. If Roman Ganix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the match, Tobias Elija had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cecilio Inocente. San Lorenzo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tobias Elija was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3.
