The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ozan Doğan got free with Prospero Oroitz in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Golpes FC's zone, Anastasio Bastian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prospero Oroitz came out of the goal and Anastasio Bastian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 8 minutes, Rolando Ekhi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Golpes FC and the Rafaela FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 8 played minutes Golpes FC got a freekick which was hit by Rolando Ekhi. Anastasio Bastian struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Prospero Oroitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rafaela FC. With a little luck, Golpes FC's Prospero Oroitz got control of the ball when Ozan Doğan tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Ozan Doğan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rafaela FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ozan Doğan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Prospero Oroitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Prospero Oroitz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ozan Doğan in the 17th minute. With a little luck, Golpes FC's Prospero Oroitz got control of the ball when Ozan Doğan tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Ozan Doğan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Prospero Oroitz acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 23rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Moises Pedroso. If Moises Pedroso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ozan Doğan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Oroitz having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Moises Pedroso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rafaela FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Pedroso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Prospero Oroitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ozan Doğan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Prospero Oroitz made a huge save. Prospero Oroitz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Anastasio Bastian showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 45 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anastasio Bastian to make the kick off. Golpes FC's Prospero Oroitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anastasio Bastian in the 52nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cayetano Eli during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cayetano Eli hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Prospero Oroitz came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Rafaela FC's Ozan Doğan. But to his dismay, Ozan Doğan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Ozan Doğan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rigoberto Serafo during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 60 played minutes Golpes FC got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Serafo. The Rafaela FC fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when Rafaela FC's Anastasio Bastian looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 64th minute Anastasio Bastian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Oroitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute, Ozan Doğan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 69th minute Anastasio Bastian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Oroitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anastasio Bastian might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Prospero Oroitz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anastasio Bastian ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Rafaela FC booed when Golpes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cayetano Eli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Prospero Oroitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efrain Illart in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75thth minute of the game Anastasio Bastian who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Golpes FC's Prospero Oroitz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Prospero Oroitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ozan Doğan, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Salvador Cuartio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Prospero Oroitz. Golpes FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Prospero Oroitz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ozan Doğan went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Rafaela FC made a substitution. Cleto Ofelio replaced Salvador Cuartio. 84 minutes into the match, Golpes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anastasio Bastian came free, but Prospero Oroitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ozan Doğan scored 6-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Prospero Oroitz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rafaela FC's Ozan Doğan got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ozan Doğan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Golpes FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
