The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 23rd minute Leonardo Pueblo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Cordearo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, MALASANGRE's Haroldo Argenis got control of the ball when Justo Guillelmo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Justo Guillelmo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Haroldo Argenis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 37 minutes, Santo Abecia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leon Cordearo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santo Abecia in the 44th minute of the match. Santo Abecia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Leon Cordearo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Santo Abecia made a kick off. MALASANGRE's Haroldo Argenis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cleto Luken in the 64th minute of play. Zacarias das Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haroldo Argenis having to interfere. A collision led to MALASANGRE getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Siro Araoz hit a great ball. If Zacarias das Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santo Abecia in the 73rd minute of play forced MANTECA ATLETIC FC's goalkeeper Leon Cordearo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 75 minutes, Joaquin Barea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MALASANGRE and the MANTECA ATLETIC FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Joaquin Barea hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. After 81 played minutes MANTECA ATLETIC FC got a freekick which was hit by Justo Guillelmo. MANTECA ATLETIC FC's Justo Guillelmo got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 95 minutes into the match, MALASANGRE's goal looked a bit too open when Justo Guillelmo came free, but Haroldo Argenis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
