In the 17th match minute, TIGRE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Furtado to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Domingos Blanco got free with Fabricio Oihenarte in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 22nd minute, Teobaldo Jakue made a precise shot to the right of Fabricio Oihenarte. TIGRE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Manuel Bingen hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. The supporters of TIGRE booed when Matador Charrúa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florencio Cordearo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Romeo Bucur notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Matador Charrúa's Tarek Joho. Tarek Joho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

TIGRE's Fabricio Oihenarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Jakue in the 54th minute of play. Fabricio Oihenarte didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Florencio Cordearo went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. 任乐迪 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Tarek Joho made a huge save. 70 minutes into the game, TIGRE's 任乐迪 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tarek Joho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. With a little luck, Matador Charrúa's Tarek Joho got control of the ball when 任乐迪 tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Jakue in the 82nd minute of play forced TIGRE's goalkeeper Fabricio Oihenarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matador Charrúa's goalkeeper couldn't reach when 任乐迪 84 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-4. If Teobaldo Jakue had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Domingos Blanco kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. TIGRE's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
