Juan-Pablo Urbilla charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juan-Pablo Urbilla the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 42nd minute, Juan-Pablo Urbilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Matambre AFC's Federico Barbosa got a free kick in the 46th minute. Leo Lucila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matías Suarez in the 50th minute of play. The Matambre AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Club Atletico San Lorenzo were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rene Raulo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Matambre AFC's Leo Lucila proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Matambre AFC from getting a goal against them. Manuel Millrick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Leo Lucila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th match minute, Matambre AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Barbosa to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the game, Manuel Millrick recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leo Lucila. Manuel Millrick showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Elias Abaunza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atletico San Lorenzo's supporters rose to their feet, but Elias Abaunza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leo Lucila breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ovidio Baumar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erubiel Ubarna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Matambre AFC's Leo Lucila got control of the ball when Elias Abaunza tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 84th minute, Matías Suarez fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Leo Lucila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Millrick in the 87th minute of the match. Alejo Urtungo took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leo Lucila. Leo Lucila dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Club Atletico San Lorenzo played a much better game than Matambre AFC and deserved their victory. The Matambre AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
