After 12 played minutes, Popoy FC's Generoso Chabier shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Christian Cordeal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Popoy FC reached it. A collision led to Puan FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Fermin Caton hit a great ball. Everardo Brion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Puan FC's Christian Cordeal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Puan FC from getting a goal against them. In the 27th minute Rafael Ugaitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Cordeal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Damaso Goito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Feliberto Soin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Puan FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Feliberto Soin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. German Petrigai breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. German Petrigai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliano Petri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Prudencio Caitano hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. German Petrigai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Urtats in the 36th minute of the match. Damaso Goito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Everardo Brion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 48th minute, Rafael Ugaitz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Christian Cordeal. The goal made the score 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Feliberto Soin was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Puan FC's Fermin Caton got a free kick in the 60th minute. Popoy FC's Generoso Chabier got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rafael Ugaitz took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christian Cordeal. Christian Cordeal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After having played for 66 minutes, Damaso Goito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Popoy FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damaso Goito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 77 minutes, Damaso Goito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Popoy FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damaso Goito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Rafael Ugaitz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christian Cordeal. Puan FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rafael Ugaitz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 89th minute Everardo Brion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Cordeal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Puan FC's Christian Cordeal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damaso Goito in the 92nd minute of play. After 97 minutes, Damaso Goito made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Puan FC's Christian Cordeal tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Popoy FC fully deserved thier win.
