Sportivo ChimiChurri's supporters rose to their feet, but Santiago Evarado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnoldo Donzel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Evarado in the 21st minute of play forced racing club's goalkeeper Arnoldo Donzel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute Norberto Dabi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillermo Rudolfo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariano Senio's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Guillermo Rudolfo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Sportivo ChimiChurri's Guillermo Rudolfo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Sportivo ChimiChurri from getting a goal against them. Norberto Dabi had several of the Sportivo ChimiChurri's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 44 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Guillermo Rudolfo as he didn't even see the shot coming. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The attack was good, but when Norberto Dabi in the 53rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. But to his dismay, Norberto Dabi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The racing club fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when racing club's Norberto Dabi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 73rd minute, Norberto Dabi made a precise shot to the right of Guillermo Rudolfo. Sportivo ChimiChurri's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Arnoldo Donzel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elvio Lidon in the 77th minute of play. Mariano Senio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillermo Rudolfo having to interfere. When Elvio Lidon fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sportivo ChimiChurri's protests and gave Elvio Lidon a yellow card for diving instead. In the 96th match minute, Sportivo ChimiChurri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elvio Lidon to maneuver through the defense.
