Andres Quirce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Cristobal Senen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Paraíso FC's Arturo Herena got a free kick in the 6th minute. Andres Quirce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Senen having to interfere. Santiago Maxin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severo Beti in the 11th minute of play. Santiago Maxin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severo Beti in the 12th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Riachuelo Jrs's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Eate came free, but Santiago Maxin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute, Generoso Guillem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Severo Beti scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Santiago Maxin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Riachuelo Jrs getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Jeremias Intxixu hit a great ball. 23 minutes into the match, Riachuelo Jrs's goal looked a bit too open when Arnulfo Florian came free, but Santiago Maxin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 0-2 became the score in the 26th minute when Severo Beti elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Ivan Benino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Senen having to interfere. Cleto Teyo hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Arturo Herena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. In the 40th minute Cristian Eate shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Maxin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Cristian Eate had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Santiago Maxin. Riachuelo Jrs's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Eate was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andres Quirce was the one to do the kick off. When Cleto Teyo came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Riachuelo Jrs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cleto Teyo couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Severo Beti got free with Santiago Maxin in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Santiago Maxin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Herena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute Arturo Herena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Maxin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Riachuelo Jrs's Jeremias Intxixu got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Santiago Maxin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Herena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paraíso FC's Arnulfo Florian got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 73 minutes, Ivan Benino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Riachuelo Jrs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivan Benino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 76th minute Arturo Herena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Maxin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santiago Maxin came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Paraíso FC's Severo Beti. But to his dismay, Severo Beti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After some careless play in the Paraíso FC defense, Ivan Benino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristobal Senen. The Paraíso FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristobal Senen should have stopped the shot. In the 84th minute, Andres Quirce ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristobal Senen was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. If Andres Quirce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Paraíso FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Riachuelo Jrs throughout the match.
