Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Achalco AFC's Marcos Charro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herminio Mero in the 13th minute of play. After 13 played minutes Achalco AFC got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Frederico. Carlos Brais blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dante Remigio having to make a save. Jaime Ladio might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dante Remigio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jaime Ladio ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 18th minute, NEW YORK RED BULL's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Carlos Brais fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Carlos Brais did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Dante Remigio 18 minutes into the match. Carlos Brais in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dante Remigio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Achalco AFC's Jaime Ladio got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Carlos Brais put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Dante Remigio. Jaime Ladio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Dante Remigio made a huge save. Dante Remigio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Brais in the 32nd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Achalco AFC's Carlos Brais sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dante Remigio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Jaime Ladio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Brais in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Remigio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jaime Ladio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th minute Nicolas Frederico suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alejo Dodorol during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 48th minute, Alejo Dodorol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jaime Ladio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jaime Ladio to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaime Ladio in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Remigio saved NEW YORK RED BULL from getting behind. When Carlos Brais came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Achalco AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Brais couldn't finish the play. If Carlos Brais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute Jaime Ladio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Remigio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victorino Lander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Remigio having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in NEW YORK RED BULL's zone, Jaime Ladio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Remigio came out of the goal and Jaime Ladio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rd minute, Jaime Ladio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Achalco AFC's zone, Herminio Mero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Charro came out of the goal and Herminio Mero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Victorino Lander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 81 minutes, Jaime Ladio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Achalco AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Ladio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Victorino Lander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th match minute, NEW YORK RED BULL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejo Dodorol to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute, Jaime Ladio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Jaime Ladio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gervasio Cuartio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luciano Santana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jaime Ladio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Achalco AFC were the better team. Achalco AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
