The supporters of Atletico Alaniz booed when Gimnasia de Necochea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornelio Eneas didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Gimnasia de Necochea getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Benito Erramu hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Gimnasia de Necochea's zone, Stanislav Myasnikov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atletico Alaniz's Ignacio Balendin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Tabb in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute Aureliano Silvino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucio Gorri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute, Anier Gonzalez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucio Gorri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silverio Larra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the match, Atletico Alaniz's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Jax came free, but Ignacio Balendin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gilberto Balasi to make the kick off. After having played for 55 minutes, Aureliano Silvino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atletico Alaniz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aureliano Silvino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Atilano Lico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Ignacio Balendin made a huge save. Victor Mateo took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucio Gorri. Lucio Gorri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Anier Gonzalez charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anier Gonzalez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Gimnasia de Necochea booed when Atletico Alaniz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anier Gonzalez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atletico Alaniz's Victor Mateo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Rodrigo Lizbeth, made in the 72nd minute of the game. Stanislav Myasnikov might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucio Gorri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stanislav Myasnikov ran back to his position shaking his head. Gimnasia de Necochea's Lucio Gorri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliano Silvino in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Gimnasia de Necochea's Alfredo Tabb dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. If Silverio Larra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilberto Balasi struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Lucio Gorri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atletico Alaniz. 88 minutes into the match, Atletico Alaniz's Bican Ergök sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucio Gorri narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
