To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Angelo Ted sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silvano Herauso took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eduardo Cuarto. Club Social Ramallo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Club Social Ramallo getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Einar Vennersten hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavino Telo in the 38th minute of play forced Club Social Ramallo's goalkeeper Eduardo Cuarto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club Social Ramallo's Eduardo Cuarto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Veto in the 48th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodrigo Veto made a kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Gavino Telo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Solanet FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gavino Telo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Solanet FC's Lorenzo Llanos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eduardo Cuarto. That made the score 1-2 after 55 minutes of play. Gavino Telo came free with the goalkeeper in the 58th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Eduardo Cuarto could save by the left post. Cristobal Arnau could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Eduardo Cuarto made a huge save. In the 60th minute, Einar Vennersten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Solanet FC's Cristobal Arnau slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eduardo Cuarto. That made the score 1-3 after 62 minutes of play. Eduardo Cuarto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Veto, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 79th minute Lorenzo Llanos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Cuarto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Federico Rius charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Federico Rius the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Solanet FC booed when Club Social Ramallo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position.
