With an extended leg and a bit of luck Freddy Abajas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 11th minute, Higinio Fresco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Bleistorver's goal looked a bit too open when Victoriano Cibran came free, but Freddy Abajas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Americo Refugio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eulalio Gil in the 16th minute. Eulalio Gil was shown his second yellow card after 21 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 21st minute, Eulalio Gil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Freddy Abajas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Aznaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Bleistorver's goal looked a bit too open when Baltasar Estevon came free, but Freddy Abajas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Green Spider FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Green Spider FC's Carlos Alberto Pires got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Freddy Abajas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Günther Cargan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Bleistorver's goal looked a bit too open when Baltasar Estevon came free, but Freddy Abajas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Baltasar Estevon notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Club Atletico Bleistorver's Freddy Abajas. Freddy Abajas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Green Spider FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When Victoriano Cibran came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Green Spider FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victoriano Cibran couldn't finish the play. 58 minutes into the match, Victoriano Cibran had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Freddy Abajas. Club Atletico Bleistorver's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victoriano Cibran was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. In the 68th minute, Higinio Fresco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Freddy Abajas was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Victoriano Cibran capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Freddy Abajas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baltasar Estevon got free with Freddy Abajas in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
