In the 7th minute, one of Club Atletico Temperley:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Club Atletico Temperley. After 15 played minutes Octavio Bakar rounded Club Atletico Temperley's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Celso Raulo got in the 24th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Fabian Ortle handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. The supporters of Azul F.C. booed when Club Atletico Temperley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. John Bergsten didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Club Atletico Temperley getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. John Bergsten hit a great ball. Francisco Licerio's late challenge caught a Azul F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Azul F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Celso Raulo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabian Ortle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Octavio Bakar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Fabian Ortle made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francisco Licerio made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Cecilio Orain managed to get in a good position for a shot. Azul F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Cecilio Orain was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabian Ortle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fabian Ortle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celso Raulo in the 55th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute Cornelio Cordarrol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Ortle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio Bakar in the 64th minute of play forced Club Atletico Temperley's goalkeeper Fabian Ortle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Temperley's goal looked a bit too open when Octavio Bakar came free, but Fabian Ortle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Club Atletico Temperley's Fabian Ortle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornelio Cordarrol in the 82nd minute of play. After 88 minutes of play, Azul F.C.'s Celso Raulo made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
