Albino Eliazar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Seleccion Argentina's Oscar Leoiar got a free kick in the 20th minute. Mercedes AFC's Horacio Min got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Albino Eliazar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelio Joseph, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Aurelio Joseph kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Emilio Colas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mercedes AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emilio Colas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Lamberto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
