Through an outstanding action, after 3 minutes, Nereo Diegotxe successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, Cejones FC's Nereo Diegotxe got control of the ball when Valentin Ekaitz tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 8 minutes, Valentin Ekaitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rivadavia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valentin Ekaitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Cejones FC's Elpidio Cheche got a free kick in the 9th minute. If Danilo Cai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. Danilo Cai spun around in front of the goal 28 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Cejones FC's goal. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cejones FC's goalkeeper Nereo Diegotxe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nereo Diegotxe made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Valentin Ekaitz sent off a good shot on target. When Conrado Valiente came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Cejones FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Conrado Valiente couldn't finish the play. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rivadavia's goalkeeper Ignacio Mikolas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Rivadavia's Nereo Diegotxe threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Danilo Cai, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Elvio Ortle made the kick off in the second half. Danilo Cai blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nereo Diegotxe having to make a save. Conrado Valiente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignacio Mikolas having to interfere. Danilo Cai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nereo Diegotxe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danilo Cai in the 63rd minute of play. Conrado Valiente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Ignacio Mikolas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69thth minute of the game Danilo Cai who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cejones FC's Nereo Diegotxe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Agustin Quinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Ekaitz in the 83rd minute of play forced Cejones FC's goalkeeper Nereo Diegotxe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nereo Diegotxe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Ekaitz in the 90th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Rivadavia fully deserved thier win.
