The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of Real Gallardeta:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of San Isidro:s goal. Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, Virgilio Fanuco successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Americo Fidencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Casimiro Bilbo kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. San Isidro's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Valentin Loreto in the 40th minute. Valentin Loreto made a great header on San Isidro's corner, it was just that Real Gallardeta's Virgilio Fanuco managed to reach the ball for a save. Cornelio Llorienzo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Lizardi having to interfere. When Cornelio Llorienzo fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Gallardeta's protests and gave Cornelio Llorienzo a yellow card for diving instead. After 66 played minutes Real Gallardeta got a freekick which was hit by Cornelio Llorienzo. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. San Isidro had won after a very even match.
