Cayetano Franco struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Victorino Birila didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Florencia AFC. Victorino Birila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cayetano Franco in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio Olo in the 23rd minute of play forced Florencia AFC's goalkeeper Camilo Iraitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Florencia AFC's Arturo Santio got a free kick in the 24th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Florencia AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Fulgencio Olo came free, but Camilo Iraitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luciano Buinton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luciano Buinton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Iraitz having to interfere. Cayetano Franco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luciano Buinton was the one to do the kick off. Fulgencio Olo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Camilo Iraitz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luciano Buinton's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. juniors a.c.'s Victorino Birila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Turcan in the 69th minute of play. Emil Turcan scored 1-0 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Victorino Birila, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 76th minute of the match Arturo Santio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Victorino Birila showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Victorino Birila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cayetano Franco in the 78th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Florencia AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Buinton came free, but Camilo Iraitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Camilo Iraitz made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Fulgencio Olo sent off a good shot on target. Florencia AFC's Fernan Frechoso was substituted for Cayetano Franco. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernan Frechoso in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victorino Birila saved juniors a.c. from getting behind. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Florencia AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while juniors a.c. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
