Mormones Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Freddy Mercurio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 9 minutes into the game, Benedicto Jerardo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pituh F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mormones Fc the free kick. In the 9th match minute, Pituh F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedicto Jerardo to maneuver through the defense. In the 19thth minute of the game Freddy Mercurio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pituh F.C.'s Eduardo Flor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mormones Fc's Freddy Mercurio got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mormones Fc were furious when Pablo Elija was red carded, 24 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to Mormones Fc getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Pablo Elija hit a great ball. Mormones Fc's Rodolfo Monte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeo Austin in the 25th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Pituh F.C.'s zone, Filip Bochinski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eduardo Flor came out of the goal and Filip Bochinski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eduardo Flor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filip Bochinski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Esteve Bastia to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Mormones Fc's Esteve Bastia got a free kick in the 56th minute. If Mario Ospin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mormones Fc made a substitution. Ignacio Guipuzkoa replaced Freddy Mercurio. With 71 minutes on the clock, Amadeo Austin commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Esteve Bastia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Flor having to interfere. Rodolfo Monte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabricio Primo in the 74th minute of the match. In the 75th match minute, Mormones Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteve Bastia to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabricio Primo in the 78th minute of play forced Mormones Fc's goalkeeper Rodolfo Monte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Pituh F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Esteve Bastia came free, but Eduardo Flor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabricio Primo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodolfo Monte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Rodolfo Monte came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Pituh F.C.'s Oscar Abeijon. But to his dismay, Oscar Abeijon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Victorio Guillem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabricio Primo in the 95th minute of play forced Mormones Fc's goalkeeper Rodolfo Monte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oscar Abeijon scored 2-0 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rodolfo Monte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pituh F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
