Teodoro Olando's late challenge caught a Argentinos Juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodoro Olando helped the player get up and apologised. After 10 played minutes Cuyoj AFC got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Olando. Cuyoj AFC's Higinio Barto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Afonso in the 14th minute of play. If Victor Afonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 22 minutes into the match, Cuyoj AFC's goalkeeper Higinio Barto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Célio Sena. In the 23rd minute, Josias Japón ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Higinio Barto was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. The supporters of Argentinos Juniors booed when Cuyoj AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascual Boniel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Argentinos Juniors's zone, 崔傲铮 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaac Guter came out of the goal and 崔傲铮 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isaac Guter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascual Boniel in the 33rd minute of the match. 崔傲铮 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Guter having to interfere. Isaac Guter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascual Boniel in the 40th minute of play. After 40 minutes, Josias Japón mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Argentinos Juniors and the Cuyoj AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 41st match minute, Argentinos Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josias Japón to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Victor Afonso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Higinio Barto was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. The Cuyoj AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Higinio Barto should have stopped the shot. Cuyoj AFC's Higinio Barto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Afonso in the 79th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Afonso in the 87th minute of play forced Cuyoj AFC's goalkeeper Higinio Barto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
