With a little luck, Chilecito's Silverio Larra got control of the ball when Saturnino Urtun tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Norberto Librado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Norberto Librado to make the kick off. Alonzo Gonzalez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Celestino Maule when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 58 minutes into the match, Chilecito's Alonzo Gonzalez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Celestino Maule narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alonzo Gonzalez in the 89thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal.
