Argentinos Juniors's Raul Geleberto got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Modesto Benat hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After 21 played minutes Pastrana199 FC got a freekick which was hit by Federico Berbiz. Federico Berbiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Burutzagi having to interfere. Diego Burutzagi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ovidio Sayveon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Amancio Fernandes made a precise shot to the right of Vinicio Savion. Pastrana199 FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Raul Geleberto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vinicio Savion read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Ovidio Sayveon charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ovidio Sayveon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Argentinos Juniors booed when Pastrana199 FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidio Sayveon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raul Geleberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Vinicio Savion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Raul Geleberto came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Argentinos Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raul Geleberto couldn't finish the play. Diego Burutzagi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Berbiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Nunez Rosios short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Diego Burutzagi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Raul Geleberto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vinicio Savion. Pastrana199 FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raul Geleberto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Raul Geleberto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Argentinos Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Raul Geleberto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vinicio Savion breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 87 minutes into the match, Pastrana199 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Severiano Jaume came free, but Vinicio Savion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Geleberto in the 88th minute of play forced Pastrana199 FC's goalkeeper Vinicio Savion to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Argentinos Juniors getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Amancio Fernandes hit a great ball. Severiano Jaume fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinicio Savion having to interfere. There was no doubt that Argentinos Juniors were the better team. Argentinos Juniors's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
