Spectators: 7140 (Terracing: 5356, Seating: 1642, VIP seats: 142) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Julian Todor started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Carmen FC's zone, Artemio Sein stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Octavio Argoitz came out of the goal and Artemio Sein tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roque Tino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Octavio Argoitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Roque Tino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luis Hitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Octavio Argoitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raul Ongile was out of position in the 12 minute of play, and Julian Todor capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Julian Todor really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. When Peñarol MdP's Artemio Sein in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Carmen FC's Octavio Argoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roque Tino in the 39th minute of play. Julian Todor scored 2-1 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raul Ongile, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Artemio Sein to make the kick off. When Artemio Sein came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Peñarol MdP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artemio Sein couldn't finish the play. After 55 played minutes Peñarol MdP got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Fernanco. Octavio Argoitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artemio Sein in the 60th minute of the match. Artemio Sein fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Argoitz having to interfere. Artemio Sein received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Octavio Argoitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonardo Ramirez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raul Ongile showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Ramirez, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Leonardo Ramirez charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonardo Ramirez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Leonardo Ramirez kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Artemio Sein in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Octavio Argoitz saved Carmen FC from getting behind. Cosme Pirro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, Carmen FC could leave the field as winners, despite Peñarol MdP having more of the ball for most of the match.
