After 12 played minutes, EL CUERVO DE TARIJA's Marcelino Leguizamón shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cosme Librado came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in EL CUERVO DE TARIJA reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Arlo in the 15th minute of play forced Brugo AFC's goalkeeper Cosme Librado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Blas Benet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eloy Abreu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eloy Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 22nd minute Eloy Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blas Benet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the game, Brugo AFC's Eloy Abreu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Blas Benet made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Filiberto Hernandez hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Blas Benet came out of the goal and Jacobo Rayman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute, Brugo AFC's Eloy Abreu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Blas Benet. Blas Benet yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Brugo AFC made a substitution. Jorge Guilabertus replaced Felix Olivar. Marcelino Leguizamón hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. In the 47th match minute, EL CUERVO DE TARIJA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauro Gonchan to maneuver through the defense. Blas Benet was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jacobo Rayman.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eloy Abreu to strike the kick off in the second half. Uriel Nuxila charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Blas Benet didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eloy Abreu went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Blas Benet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Brion in the 73rd minute of play. Eloy Abreu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blas Benet having to interfere. Blas Benet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eloy Abreu's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Blas Benet came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Brugo AFC's Eloy Abreu. But to his dismay, Eloy Abreu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 83 minutes into the match, EL CUERVO DE TARIJA's goal looked a bit too open when Eloy Abreu came free, but Blas Benet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee ignored Brugo AFC's protests and gave Filiberto Hernandez a yellow card for diving instead. After 96 played minutes Brugo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Filiberto Hernandez. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Brugo AFC had played much better football throughout.
