Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Agustin Paez started the match with the kick off. When Katmandú's Agustin Paez in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nikson Futbol Club's goalie prevented a goal. Nereo Oidor kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, German Gombal took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Edgard Sol to make any attempt to save it. 22 minutes into the game, Katmandú's Godofredo Frantzes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aurelio Bertran made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Katmandú's Arnoldo Salbatore managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Nunez Ursino in the 25 minute of the game. In the 29th minute Agustin Paez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Bertran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aurelio Bertran came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Katmandú's Agustin Paez. But to his dismay, Agustin Paez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. When Celestino Ekain fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nikson Futbol Club's protests and gave Celestino Ekain a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th match minute, Nikson Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celestino Ekain to maneuver through the defense. 42 minutes into the match, Silverio Hunfredo notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Katmandú's Edgard Sol. Edgard Sol was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. German Gombal was the one to do the kick off. Silverio Hunfredo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 57th minute, Arnoldo Salbatore reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aurelio Bertran. The goal made the score 3-3. Silverio Hunfredo might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edgard Sol. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Silverio Hunfredo ran back to his position shaking his head. Silverio Hunfredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Sol having to interfere. Godofredo Frantzes in the 65thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Aurelio Bertran, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience was convinced that German Gombal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgard Sol was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Katmandú's Arnoldo Salbatore got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute, Silverio Hunfredo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgard Sol was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. Nikson Futbol Club's Aurelio Bertran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Nikson Futbol Club from getting a goal against them. Israel Aureo hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Godofredo Frantzess short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Aurelio Bertran to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Elvio Quintin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. German Gombal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Edgard Sol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Godofredo Frantzes's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Aurelio Bertran firmly grabbed it by the left post. Elvio Quintin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute, Agustin Paez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Katmandú's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
