Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Zeledon Bernard took the kick off in the first half of the match. Glew's Feliberto Rioja got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 9 minutes into the game, Feliberto Rioja cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Teodosio Ieltxu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ovidio Licerio got free with Benito Firme in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marciano Lucero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute Feliberto Rioja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodosio Ieltxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Glew's attentive Casimiro Ramond managed to snatch the ball when Timoteo Baumar made a throw-in in the 25th minute of the game. Benito Firme came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Racing FC's Zeledon Bernard. But to his dismay, Zeledon Bernard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The audience was convinced that Feliberto Rioja's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teodosio Ieltxu was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. If Feliberto Rioja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hilario Reyes might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teodosio Ieltxu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hilario Reyes ran back to his position shaking his head. Ovidio Licerio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Benito Firme made a huge save. Benito Firme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Bernard in the 46th minute of the match. Zeledon Bernard's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Firme read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Teodosio Ieltxu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Feliberto Rioja's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. If Feliberto Rioja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Timoteo Baumar fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Racing FC's protests and gave Timoteo Baumar a yellow card for diving instead. Geronimo Tiniebra's late challenge caught a Glew's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Geronimo Tiniebra helped the player get up and apologised. In the 67thth minute of the game Feliberto Rioja who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Racing FC's Teodosio Ieltxu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Teodosio Ieltxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliberto Rioja in the 69th minute of play. In the 72nd minute Feliberto Rioja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodosio Ieltxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Glew's Benito Firme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovidio Licerio in the 76th minute of play. A collision led to Glew getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Americo Donostia hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliberto Rioja in the 85th minute of play forced Racing FC's goalkeeper Teodosio Ieltxu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Americo Donostia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Glew's Feliberto Rioja slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Teodosio Ieltxu. That made the score 1-3 after 89 minutes of play. When the final whistle sounded Glew left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Racing FC.
