If Horacio Cilio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 14 played minutes Nasaló got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Victoro. When Ivan Victoro fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nasaló's protests and gave Ivan Victoro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th match minute, Nasaló was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Victoro to maneuver through the defense. Eloy Arnas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Duarte having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Nasaló's Ivan Victoro got a free kick in the 21st minute. Rolando Duarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Mergildo in the 23rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horacio Cilio got free with Inocencio Caetano in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 26th minute, Carlos Mergildo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PACHULA FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Carlos Mergildo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Nasaló's Ivan Victoro got a free kick in the 29th minute. Leo Nuñez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Duarte having to interfere. 34 minutes into the game, PACHULA FC's Eloy Arnas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rolando Duarte made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. PACHULA FC's Inocencio Caetano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save PACHULA FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of PACHULA FC booed when Nasaló was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Victoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eloy Arnas to make the kick off. In the 55th match minute, PACHULA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Geleberto to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute Carlos Mergildo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th match minute, Nasaló was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Federigo to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute, Eloy Arnas fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 73rd minute, Samuel Lia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Nuñez in the 75th minute of play forced Nasaló's goalkeeper Rolando Duarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Cristian Federigo came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Nasaló fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Federigo couldn't finish the play. If Conrado Geleberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Eloy Arnas managed to get in a good position for a shot. PACHULA FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eloy Arnas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolando Duarte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 89th minute, Torgny Hansson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. PACHULA FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Nasaló's much stronger midfield.
