The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Inocencio Caetano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Guerau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Moises Lugo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Inocencio Caetano made a huge save. Benjamin Guerau kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Club Atl. Doña Clotilde's Aldo Maule played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Mergildo in the 17th minute of play. Inocencio Caetano made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Moises Lugo sent off a good shot on target. Eloy Arnas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Club Atl. An unexpected shot in the 31st minute by Angel Venceslao got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. PACHULA FC's Inocencio Caetano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Guerau in the 35th minute of play. Justino Seguinus hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Guerau in the 40th minute of play forced PACHULA FC's goalkeeper Inocencio Caetano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inocencio Caetano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Guerau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute, one of PACHULA FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for PACHULA FC. The goalkeeper, Inocencio Caetano, was totally fooled by Club Atl. Doña Clotilde's Hugo Cebrian, who 45 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eloy Arnas was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes, Benjamin Guerau mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atl. Doña Clotilde and the PACHULA FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 54 played minutes Club Atl. Doña Clotilde got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Guerau. When Carlos Mergildo came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the PACHULA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Mergildo couldn't finish the play. In the 63rd match minute, PACHULA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eloy Arnas to maneuver through the defense. Eloy Arnas kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Carlos Mergildo took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aldo Maule. Aldo Maule dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Aldo Maule showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Mergildo in the 71st minute of the match. If Benjamin Guerau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the match, Benjamin Guerau notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of PACHULA FC's Inocencio Caetano. Inocencio Caetano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Benjamin Guerau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucio Iraitz made in the 87th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Hugo Cebrian however managed to control. Hugo Cebrian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Inocencio Caetano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hugo Cebrian struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Inocencio Caetano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atl. Doña Clotilde. 95 minutes into the game, Hugo Cebrian was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atl. Doña Clotilde's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PACHULA FC the free kick. After 95 played minutes Club Atl. Doña Clotilde got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Cebrian. In the 96th minute Eloy Arnas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Maule saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Club Atl. Doña Clotilde players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
