Nasaló's Rolando Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Libertad in the 6th minute of play. After having played for 11 minutes, Angelino Ramone managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Knight's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelino Ramone was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Torgny Hansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Federigo in the 27th minute of play forced Knight's goalkeeper Severiano Belo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Federigo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rolando Duarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Libertad, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Nasaló's Rolando Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Libertad in the 34th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Angelino Ramone scored 0-1 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolando Duarte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Angelino Ramone managed to get in a good position for a shot. Knight's supporters rose to their feet, but Angelino Ramone was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolando Duarte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Damian Libertad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Rolando Duarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Angelino Ramone got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Knight's Cristo Salbatore got a free kick in the 70th minute. The supporters of Knight booed when Nasaló was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torgny Hansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolando Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Libertad in the 74th minute of play. Severiano Belo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horacio Cilio in the 89th minute of play. If Angelino Ramone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nasaló's goalkeeper Rolando Duarte, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Nasaló lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
