Luisito Isauro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Bladi in the 20th minute of the match. A hard shot 23 in the game by Orlando Raebert from a close distance when the talented Luisito Isauro managed to make a qualified save. QuilmesFC's players were relieved. With his leg Luisito Isauro managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Carpintería's Orlando Raebert fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Orlando Raebert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Igor Bladi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 44 minutes into the game, Esteve Delfino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Tobias Palban was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Baldomiro Ospin's late challenge caught a Carpintería's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baldomiro Ospin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 47th minute, Baldomiro Ospin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luisito Isauro made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Orlando Raebert sent off a good shot on target. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Luisito Isauro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Bladi, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Igor Bladi might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luisito Isauro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
