C.A. Independiente's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baldomero Barbosa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Jesus Donio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomero Barbosa in the 30th minute of play. Jesus Donio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomero Barbosa in the 35th minute of the match. After 38 minutes of play, A.F.C's Baltasar Savion made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jesus Donio was left in no man's land by his defense there! 43 minutes into the game, one of A.F.C:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Wilian Ramalho placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! 48 minutes into the match, C.A. Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Baltasar Savion came free, but Jesus Donio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Baltasar Savion stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, C.A. Independiente's goalkeeper Jesus Donio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gudesteo Cariga. 57 minutes into the match, Baltasar Savion notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of C.A. Independiente's Jesus Donio. Jesus Donio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Baltasar Savion took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jesus Donio. When Celso Fernandes came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the C.A. Independiente fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celso Fernandes couldn't finish the play. Gudesteo Cariga charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gudesteo Cariga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Independiente fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. A.F.C were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
