He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Comodoro Lavalle AC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 10th minute. Penalty! Comodoro Lavalle AC:s Ezequiel Frascuelo showed great skill when he stopped Amancio Guerrero:s penalty. Severo Savier hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Mollaco's zone, Flavio Salomone stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patricio Matai came out of the goal and Flavio Salomone tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 38th minute, Isidoro Nalo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute Ladislao Piearres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Matai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Lore in the 49th minute of play forced Comodoro Lavalle AC's goalkeeper Ezequiel Frascuelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Eduardo Lore made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Mollaco's Patricio Matai got control of the ball when Ladislao Piearres tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ezequiel Frascuelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Lore in the 77th minute of the match. Flavio Salomone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patricio Matai having to interfere. Ladislao Piearres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Patricio Matai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ezequiel Frascuelo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Brun, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Flavio Salomone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Flavio Salomone managed to get in a good position for a shot. Comodoro Lavalle AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Flavio Salomone was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
