Hector Goi hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Casimiro Ralondo got free with Tadeo Pello in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 17 played minutes Tocata FC got a freekick which was hit by Ubaldo Sedeni. Tadeo Pello made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Casimiro Ralondo sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Casimiro Ralondo got free with Tadeo Pello in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Casimiro Ralondo sped through Tocata FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tadeo Pello. 32 minutes into the match, Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Goi came free, but Isaias Inko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 34 played minutes Tocata FC got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Truylos. Tadeo Pello stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Casimiro Ralondo's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Independiente's Isaias Inko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Goi in the 40th minute of play. Tocata FC's Tadeo Pello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casimiro Ralondo in the 42nd minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Casimiro Ralondo made the kick off in the second half. Tadeo Pello came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Independiente's Severo Gomesano. But to his dismay, Severo Gomesano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Independiente's Severo Gomesano got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 60 minutes into the match, Tocata FC's Dalmacio Manuelo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isaias Inko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Independiente's Gabriel Batistuta got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tadeo Pello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casimiro Ralondo in the 80th minute of the match. Isaias Inko made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Hector Goi sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casimiro Ralondo in the 88th minute of play forced Tocata FC's goalkeeper Tadeo Pello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Timoteo Breogan during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Timoteo Breogan hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. If Hector Goi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaudencio Calisto's shot from long distance in the 93rd minute was not bad at all, but Independiente's Isaias Inko knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Independiente walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
