The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Sebastian Canor came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Calmucó fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Canor couldn't finish the play. Tobias Sergi hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. A collision led to Calmucó getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Tobias Sergi hit a great ball. Jimeno Isias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sebastian Canor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justo Recondo having to interfere. Honorato Bernat came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ceibal AFC's Gervasio Laurgain. But to his dismay, Gervasio Laurgain quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 27 minutes into the game, Ceibal AFC's Americo Ospin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Honorato Bernat made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 30 minutes into the match, Americo Ospin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Honorato Bernat. Calmucó's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Americo Ospin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. When Ceibal AFC's Americo Ospin in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Calmucó's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Sebastian Canor put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Justo Recondo. Maximino Llorenc might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Justo Recondo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maximino Llorenc ran back to his position shaking his head. Americo Ospin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Honorato Bernat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Justo Recondo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Canor in the 43rd minute of the match. If Maximino Llorenc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

Gervasio Laurgain could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Honorato Bernat made a huge save. In the 63rd minute, Melchor Calisto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 69 minutes into the game, when Bernabe Laurin put in a rough tackle. A collision led to Ceibal AFC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Bernabe Laurin hit a great ball. In the 71st minute, Melchor Calisto made a precise shot to the right of Justo Recondo. Ceibal AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-4. The supporters of Ceibal AFC booed when Calmucó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximino Llorenc didn't get a good kick on the ball. Everardo Blai hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Americo Ospin kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After 85 played minutes Ceibal AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gavino Cedro. When Ceibal AFC's Americo Ospin in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Calmucó's goalie prevented a goal. Calmucó were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
