Ignacio Gudesteo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Americo Ospin, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Niceto Llope sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ignacio Gudesteo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Americo Ospin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ignacio Gudesteo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Americo Ospin in the 31st minute of play. Americo Ospin did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Ignacio Gudesteo 32 minutes into the match. The Boedo Juniors fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Boedo Juniors's Niceto Llope looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Americo Ospin to strike the kick off in the second half. Jimeno Isias kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Boedo Juniors's goalkeeper Ignacio Gudesteo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Boedo Juniors's Ignacio Gudesteo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Otsando in the 58th minute of play. Justo Recondo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Virgilio Omero showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 62 minute of play. Americo Ospin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Niceto Llope hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Celestino Faro hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Niceto Llope scored 2-4 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Justo Recondo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ignacio Gudesteo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Americo Ospin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Niceto Llope was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 90th minute. Boedo Juniors's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 93rd play minutes Americo Ospin shot 3-4, a short shot which went by Ignacio Gudesteo and just under the crossbar into goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Boedo Juniors had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
